I started my yoga journey after losing 35-40 pounds and was looking for a new way to work out. I saw all these incredible yogis on Instagram and I fell in love with their practice!! All I could think was "this is yoga?!" I honestly thought it was just "stretching", I had no idea the wonders it would do for my strength, weightloss and soul on top of flexibly!! On March 18th, 2013 I made a promise to myself to unroll my mat every single day no matter what! I used the app Simply Yoga and began following Instagram photos, step by steps and video to learn at home and it wasn't until October of last year that I took my first yoga class! I've been doing a once weekly class for an hour since then and still practice at home every day! I dream of becoming a yoga teacher in the future, once we can afford it! I absolutely love everything about my practice and what it has done for my mind, soul and body!! I've lost a total of 90lbs in over 2 years and I've never been healthier or happier! Ontario Canada Instagram: @getfityogagirl
